Greg, the Sale Rep, was very informative about the Rhino Shield product, and the installation process for applying Rhino Shield and reviewed the steps from signing a contract, selecting colors, installation, our approval of the work and receiving the warranty. Greg was very pleasant to talk with and did not use any hard sell tactics. Maddie, the Scheduler, helped with scheduling a start date and kept us informed as the start date approached. Chandler, the Field Manager, contacted us a few days before the job was to start to get our color choices and give us an arrival window. Day one of the project , the Rhino Shield installation crew and Chandler arrived on time. Chandler , Orlando (crew lead) and I walked the perimeter of the house, reviewing what was to be painted which color, and noted any minor repairs to the siding or house trim. The installation process started with preparing the house: power washing, scraping loose paint or caulking, masking windows and doors, exterior lights, outlets, eave vents. Then caulking any holes or cracks in the siding. The primer coat was applied to the siding and eaves 2 sides of the house allowed to dry, then the final coat was applied. This was repeated for the remaining 2 side of the house. Then the roof facia, window and door trim were primed and painted. After that Orlando & I walked around the house to identify areas to be touched up, which the crew took care of. We did a final walk through after the touch ups were completed. We are very satisfied not only with the “paint” job itself but with dealing with the Rhino Shield AZ team. I am familiar with the Rhino Liner product as I’ve used it on my vehicle underbodies for a very long time. That, along with the advertisements in the mailed circular is what drove me to Rhino Shield of Arizona for my house.I knew the product would be more expensive than a standard paint job, so I went in with eyes wide open. Scheduling the initial meeting with Greg was simple and he arrived right when he said he would. We walked around the house, it’s big, and identified just how big the job was going to be. It is a stucco house and the stucco was in mostly good shape with some cracks here and there, but we also knew we would need some repairs. Greg prepared the quote and made sure we knew the paint crew project manager would do the assessment on the stucco repair and provide that quote after they arrived. Greg was very up front about everything to expect and there were no surprises.Scheduling the work was a breeze and was only a bit over a week out from the initial meeting with Greg. David, the PM, came out and looked over the house, identified the stucco repairs and gave me the quote. In between meeting with Greg and David coming out, we started looking more closely at the house and realized the stucco was in worse shape than we thought. I knew we would need more work than I initially thought. Just like Greg, David was extremely open and there were no surprises and he told me everything he would recommend. When the rest of the team arrived, they went straight to work and the Team lead, Victor, and the rest of the crew were professional and extremely talented. This crew is absolutely amazing.Being Arizona, you wouldn’t think we’d have rain days, but we did. When that happened, some of the stucco repairs hadn’t cured and they had to be reworked. There were no complaints from the team, just the same professional attitude they had through the whole process. I also had another contractor coming out on one of the days for a different project and they couldn’t have any other contractors on site for liability reasons. David said that was not a problem and they would resume their work the following day.Finally, now that the work is complete, it looks absolutely amazing. The colors we chose match the samples perfectly, the cracks are gone, the parapets are all repaired, and now I know we have an exterior that will stand up to what Arizona dishes out. I’m also comforted by the fact the work has a 25-year warranty. For anybody considering Rhino Shield, know it will cost more than standard paint, but will last decades, is backed up by an incredible team who take their jobs seriously, and a warranty you cannot beat with paint.Michael B. ★★★★★ When my wife and I decided it was time to repaint our house I was looking at several items when choosing a painter. After a thorough inspection, it was determined our home required a lot of repair work to the stucco prior to applying the product as we had many cracks and had replaced a glass block window with a regular window which needed new exterior framing. It wasn’t terrible, but not great either. Decided to try Rhino Shield with its added sun protection. The entire process was painless. The work crew was fabulous and worked full days for nearly 10 days. The prep work (power washing the house, masking the entire house and travertine patios was very through). Two coats of product were applied. The detail of the finish work was most impressive. There were five colors on the house. Each was blended perfectly together. The finish work around the windows was done to perfection. The house now really “pops” and is bright and clean. I have not singled out any individuals as this truly was a fabulous team effort. Our salesman, Will, worked with us to bring the cost down to something we could afford. He even delayed the project by 10 months until we had the available funds. The crew was diligent and I was able to work with them throughout the process to make sure nothing was overlooked. They painted a number of items related to lighting fixtures, bbq island and pool equipment area to make sure it all looked top notch. I am very particular and I can tell you that with clear communications there is no better solution that will last for many more years than the ‘cheaper’ options.
